Data as a source of market power stream contributes to EU debate

Data as a Source of Market Power co-lead, Rob Nicholls presented to the International Congress on The Digital Economy: Regulatory, Contractual and Competition Aspects, which was held at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in November 2019. His topic was “Platforms, Privacy and Antitrust: Analysing the Australian Digital Platforms Inquiry” and was partly based on his work with Dr Katharine Kemp on Data as a Source of Market Power. The paper will form a chapter of a book of the contributions to the congress, which is expected to be published in the next 12 months.
