New paper from the Right to Repair research stream published in Nature Energy

We are very happy to share the recent publication of Towards a repair research agenda for off-grid solar e-waste in the Global South, an exciting new paper by Hub Member Matt Kearnes and colleagues recently published in Nature Energy!

The paper sets out a research agenda centering on the role of repair in addressing the looming issue of solar e-waste in the Global South. The authors explore the structure of the off-grid solar sector, how it creates barriers to addressing e-waste, and what research is needed to overcome them. 

Congratulations to Matt and his co-authors Paul Munro (UNSW), Shanil Samarakoon (UNSW), Ulrich Hansen (DTU Wind and Energy), Anna Bruce (UNSW), Jamie Cross( University of Edinburgh), Sarah Walker (UNSW) and Collen Zalengera (Mzuzu Univerisity) on the publication of this important and timely paper.
