FLIP Stream Director, Michael Legg at the Relativity conference, Spotlight: ANZ

On 13 September 2022, Professor Michael Legg attended Relativity’s third annual APAC-focused event, Spotlight: ANZ, which explored how Relativity's community of users in Australia and New Zealand were responding to the changing size and shape of data.

Professor Legg was part of a panel entitled: "What’s Next at the Intersection of AI and e-Discovery". The Panel was chaired by Stuart Hall from Relativity and featured Andrea Beckman from Relativity, Julian Lee from Microsoft and Craig Macauley from class actions law firm, Phi Finney McDonald.  Professor Legg discussed the use of AI tools in class actions and regulatory investigations/litigation with a particular focus on the ethical obligations of lawyers.
