The “AI Decision-Making and the Courts" research report has been released

We are excited to announce the release of “AI Decision-Making and the Courts: A Guide for Judges, Tribunal Members and Court Administrators”, a joint research project between Australian Institute for Judicial Administration (AIJA), UNSW Law and Justice, UNSW Allens Hub and FLIP Stream.

With a broad overview on AI and decision-making tools, this timely report broaches the potential challenges and opportunities these new technologies raise for courts and tribunals.

The report dives into the overarching questions about the use of AI in these contexts, including the problem/s AI solves, contexts of use and alignment with important values.
